Google docs
Google docs is very useful. I can use it at school and at home. In school I can use it to make a presentation or write a project. I could make it at home and bring it to school on a flashdrive. I can also access it anywhere that has internet because it is on an account. Below is a sample presentation on recycling.

VoiceThread and Animoto
I could use Animoto and VoiceThread in many different ways in school. One of those ways is making a picture video and narrating it. Then I could bring it to school and have my teacher project it onto their screen. It is easier doing it this way instead of getting up in front of the class because i don't have to memorize what I am saying and I don't have to get embarrassed. I could also post it onto my blog and people can comment and tell me what they think.

Image Generators

Write in your blog about what kinds of things you could use an image generator for in school. Then write about some ways you could use them at home or in a club [like scouts, sports team, etc]. Include a sample of your creations on your blog.
At school I can use image generators for school projects, such as a cover for a report. At home I can use them to make a holiday card. At a club I could make a poster and print it. Here are some samples.

More on Big Huge Labs
Big Huge Labs is a website that you edit your pictures on. You can create posters, magazines, trading cards, and much more. You can choose pictures from your computer or you can find them on the internet. When I used Big Huge Labs I found my pictures on flickr and copied the URL into the little rectangle.
