Image Generators

Write in your blog about what kinds of things you could use an image generator for in school. Then write about some ways you could use them at home or in a club [like scouts, sports team, etc]. Include a sample of your creations on your blog.

At school I can use image generators for school projects, such as a cover for a report. At home I can use them to make a holiday card. At a club I could make a poster and print it. Here are some samples.

On wordle.net I made this word collage. I entered the url of my blog and it randomly picked words off of it. Then I picked the shape, color, and font. It was really fun!

Comic Strip Generator

On comic strip generator i made a comic. I was able to choose the cartoon, writing, font, title, and size. It was so cool.

trading card

On Big Huge Labs I made a trading card of one of my favorite authors, Lisi Harrison. She has written a lot of books and I have read most of them

More on Big Huge Labs

Big Huge Labs is a website that you edit your pictures on. You can create posters, magazines, trading cards, and much more. You can choose pictures from your computer or you can find them on the internet. When I used Big Huge Labs I found my pictures on flickr and copied the URL into the little rectangle.

Flickr

On Flickr i can post pictures for my family. I would only show pictures that don't have people in them. Those types of pictures I would keep private. I would have shown pictures that were of places such as Mexico, or the Grand Canyon.

I loved using flickr.com. I didn't know that there were so many different things that you could do with your pictures on the Internet. Here are some of my favorite pictures from Flickr

Both of these images were found on Flickr.

Creativity

  1. How can I be creative in today’s world?
  2. What part will the Internet play in helping me to be creative?
  3. If I can post my art, video, or writing work on the Internet for the world to see, will this make me work differently than if only my teacher was going to see it?

I am creative every day. At school I do art, and at home I play guitar and dance. These are all forms of creativity. On the Internet I am creative when I make my blog. I can choose what pictures, backgrounds, and games I post on it. I am also creative when I post messages on my blog. I will post differently on the Internet than I will when only my teacher can see. I do this because if there is any personal information it can be viewed all over the world.
